Tom Avery
Tom is our subject matter expert. With 30 years of experience in law enforcement, he understands how public safety agencies operate and how they evaluate, purchase and use technology. Over the past three years, Tom offered his knowledge to assist in the design of AI-based solutions and proved the effectiveness of facial recognition algorithms and workflows to expedite the identification and prosecution of criminal suspects. He is in a unique position to understand the needs of law enforcement agencies and can translate those needs into practical solutions that work.
Manuel Monroy
Manuel has been assessing emerging technology trends, identifying market opportunities, developing software applications and bringing innovative products to the marketplace for 20 years. He’s held senior product and business development roles in the areas of computer vision and artificial intelligence at US publicly held companies. Manuel co-founded MaiVERIC with the strong commitment to leverage his education and professional experience to contribute to the reinstatement of peace and people’s wellbeing throughout Latin America.
Jeffrey Krause
Jeffrey is a seasoned CTO and a serial entrepreneur. He’s the founder of multiple Internet companies and has directly developed the scaled infrastructure required to analyze petabytes of unstructured data using artificial intelligence. Jeffrey is a member of the The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a juror for the Webby Awards, The Australian International Design Awards, Shorty Awards, and a mentor for Betaspring’s startup accelerator. He is a graduate of Y Combinator and holds a Masters in Design and Computation from MIT.
